We’ve always been persecuted. That was what my grandma used to tell me.

They murdered my family and were now looking for me.

On the run, I fell into a magical hole in the ground that brought me to a world full of monsters.

I’m still not sure how I found myself mated to one of them.

In order to survive a ceremony called The Devouring, I’m going to have to trust him.

Covered in blood, will this warrior who saved me from death be able to save me from himself?
